Perlite covering agent (slag remover) is getting from perlite sand after special process. In production worker scatter perlite covering agent over liquid steel surface and its volume will be expanded 4-30times, meanwhile it has insulation and slag removing characteristic. It takes place of straw ash or asbestos ash for casting industry.
Perlite covering agent special characteristics as follows:
1)good insulation capability, it can keep temperature of liquid steel down 20-30%
2)good collecting slag property, easy for drossing, good for liquid steel purification
3)Reduce environment pollution, improve working condition
4)Cost can reduce about 30% after using perlite covering agent
